ROYCE' Chocolate is a Japanese confections brand with a growing business and following in the US. This position is for our retail locations in Uwajiyama Seattle Washington
Summary of Responsibilities: Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for in-store customer service, which includes assisting customers with their needs, pitching products and gift suggestions to consumers, and answering their questions regarding brand and product information (allergens present in products, brand history, among others). Sales associates are also responsible for maintaining our locations' cleanliness, and assisting managers with tasks such as fixing product deliveries and double checking daily product inventory and cash sales. Required to work on weekends.
Drive For Results: Sales associates are also expected to observe what products move fast and what products move slow in their respective locations. They are encouraged to talk to their direct supervisors and the company management about suggestions on how to improve sales and marketing pitches based from their firsthand experiences working on the sales floor.
Customer Service: Excellent customer service is crucial for this position. Sales associates are expected to work closely with their managers in resolving customer disputes and complaints. An enthusiastic attitude and good people relations skills are advantages together with honest work ethics.
Operations: Daily operations include, but are not limited to: cleaning the store before opening and closing, doublechecking expiry dates on products, and ensuring accuracy for product inventories and cash flow.
Merchandising/ Visual: Sales associates must ensure the selling floor is neat, clean, organized, and always reflects the correct visual image of the brand. They are also required to help their managers check for broken displays and damaged dry goods.
Qualifications: Ideal qualifications include 1 to 5 years of experience in retail (having worked with food is an advantage), strong communication and interpersonal skills, and flexibility in work schedule (including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, special selling events, and holidays as brand operations will require)
