Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Greet all customers as they enter and exit the store; answer and direct phone calls; help customer's locate products; maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions; maintain cleanliness of product displays around register area; maintain safety protocols; put away weekly store orders; maintain store organization; perform other job duties as needed.

Qualifications: Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change; have the ability to stand and walk consistently for 4 hours or more at a time; excellent verbal communication and the ability to convey information clearly and effectively; great interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to multitask; great listening skills and the ability to take direction; responsible, flexible, reliable and organized; honesty, courtesy and friendliness are required; must be a team player.

We are a small business, family owned and operated. We have been servicing Litchfield and the surrounding towns since 1985. Customer service is very important to us! Experience in retail, customer service, and categories related to a hardware store are a plus but not required. If you think you would make a great addition to our team, please apply.
