The Sales & Catering Coordinator at the Embassy Suites by Hilton La Quinta Hotel and Spa is an important role in the Sales Department and is key to the hotel’s success because you are the direct link to our clients. We are seeking a highly detailed, organized, energetic, and dependable Sales and Catering Coordinator to manage catering and event services.

A successful candidate will work well in a team environment, be able to anticipate needs, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working with guests on details and requirements of events.
  • Welcoming guests to the hotel for events and assisting with site visits.
  • Coordinating and event planning, including processing Banquet Event Orders, diagramming and event billing must possess solid financial management skills.
  • Managing set-up and day-of logistics details.
  • Respond to guest inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining inventory of AV equipment and other catering items, including tables and chairs.
  • Must be able to liaison with other departments to ensure all parties have clear and updated information for upcoming events.
  • Should have a personable demeanor and passion for providing a great customer experience.
  • Must possess good networking skills with a special focus on establishing and maintaining good client relationships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
