The Position

We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our growing team. Working with the Head of Sales Development, you'll be the face of promoting Swoogo, whether you're researching and prospecting target outbound companies or following up with event professionals looking to learn more from our chatbot.

You will

  • Partner with our sales team to help generate meetings and sales pipeline by targeting cold prospects not engaged with Swoogo
  • Partner with marketing and partnership teams to execute on joint campaigns
  • Become an expert in the discovery process helping to solve our customers challenges
  • Follow up on "hand-raisers," or inbound leads who require more touches in the sales process
  • Manage our websites chatbot, responding to leads who request to talk to a human and passing them off to appropriate members of the Swoogo team
  • Manage a clean and accurate pipeline at all times
  • Consistently exceed your monthly & quarterly targets
  • Lead a consultative sale by becoming an expert in both the event industry and the Swoogo product
  • Proactively share stories, wins, and losses with the sales team to better understand what works and what doesn't

Must-Have

  • 0-3 years sales experience in B2B Saas
  • Self-starter and problem solver

Nice-to-have

  • Sales or related market/business experience is a plus
  • Experience working with events or within event tech
  • Experience using CRMs, specifically Salesforce
  • Experience using Salesloft & Gong
  • Event technology experience
  • Training on MEDDICC, Sandler, Challenger Sale, or other solution based selling methods
