Job Description


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/TASKS:

  • Gather, sanitize, and validate historical data and forecast inputs (both internal and external data) to support best demand forecast possible.
  • Aggregate and disaggregate forecast and supply data to help key stakeholders make informed decisions.
  • Enhance existing and develop new capabilities and tools to support the process.
  • Support and expand on all opportunities to level load the plan to drive improvements in inventory, fulfillment, cycle time, capacity management and growth
  • Collaborate with the Logistics Manager, Repair Operations Manager, and Inventory Operation Planning team to drive improved effectiveness of SIOP process through sharing of best practices and implementation of standards.
  • Determine ability to meet requested customer dates based on capacity, cycle time and inventory. Be involved in implementing new systems, procedures and work instructions, and special projects supporting manufacturing and customer service objectives.
  • Drive transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement through solutions to track key assumptions, inputs, and outputs.
  • Develop “what-If” scenarios that contemplate the impacts of changes to demand and supply assumptions and translate those impacts to the financials.
  • Participate in the monthly SIOP cycle and help drive adoption across the organization.
  • Identify obstacles and roadblocks to implementing SIOP, develop and communicate possible solutions.
  • Develop and deliver training on the overall SIOP process.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills to review and compare data to identify inconsistencies and determine priorities
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments
  • Planning, organizing, and managing time to handle multiple assignments concurrently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Effective time management.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
  • Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
  • Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

Qualifications


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Aerospace, Energy or similar industry involved with manufacture and/or repair of highly engineered products. Previous experience in a shop floor operations role, data analytics role, or customer facing position is desired. Proven ability to interface effectively with other functions within a complex organization.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Computer Science or Finance
