Job description
Trucking company with 15 years on the market is on the hunt for an experienced Head of Sales to bring the business to a new level. You will be responsible for management of all sales and operational functions with aggressive goals for revenue growth. Will also have personnel functions companywide.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and contacting potential clients to generate new business
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers
- Negotiating rates and contracts with clients
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet revenue goals
- Staying up to date on industry trends and regulations
- Collaborating with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth transportation of goods
- Preparing and presenting sales reports to management
Experience:
- 5+ years of sales experience in logistics and transportation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Proven ability to grow revenues and manage costs.
- Knowledge and market awareness to build and further develop carrier relationships and negotiations.
- The ability to sell and close new business, as well as train effective sales philosophy and manage others in it.
- Must be able to analyze situations, identify opportunities, and successfully implement solutions through negotiations.
- Knowledge of the risks and requirements on various types of freight and trailer types.
- Experience with a large 3PL company as an office or division head, or upper management.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
