Job description
Mustang Creek Estates is looking for a talented and dynamic Sales Specialist. Sales Specialist will be responsible under the direction of the VP of Sales and Marketing for supporting the Sales teams within the communities during transition periods by overseeing the sales and marketing of the community. This position will also oversee the planning and execution of the sales standards to ensure the efficient and effective sales business plan for a specific period of time.
This position will be required to frequently travel the DFW area. The Sales Specialist may be residing in a particular campus for a significant period of time. This position requires previous sales experience for a senior living company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Partners with outside sources to build a network of referrals for one or more Mustang Creek Estates locations
- Ability to cover a large territory that could consist of 5+ locations around DFW
- Act as the primary representative of Mustang Creek Estates with an emphasis on targeted referral sources for leads
- Manages and tracks referral sources in your designated area
- Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract new leads
- Monthly/Weekly planning and execution of extremal business presentations
- Purchase and distribute marketing/sales promotional items
- Research and develops employment branding opportunities for Mustang Creek Estates
- Follows up with referral sources on a consistent basis
- Strive to maintain census of 95% or higher
- Monitor and manage outside marketing budget
- Submit weekly marketing report
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with the designated Director of Sales for your locations
- Participate in sales/marketing calls as needed
Qualifications
- Successful outside sales experience
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to act in a resident’s best interest
- Ability to act and supervise in a professional and courteous manner
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow MCE policies and procedures
