MSC Cruises USA is expandingits Commercial team to include adding support for its Inside Salesdepartment. This role is responsible forproviding support to Field Sales Managers and Travel Partners in all selling andservicing activities, as well as ensuring high level of Customer Service. Youwill be assisting with answering incoming phone calls from travel agents and respondingto email requests. This is currently a fully remote position however hybridmodel may commence in the future.

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalentcombination of education and\/or relevant sales experience.
  • 3+ years sales experience. Travel industryexperience a plus. Experience managing relationships within the travel industrypreferred
  • Strong communicator both written and spoken andability to have a meaningful dialogue with Trade Partners
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office suite (Word,Excel)
Supports selling needs of Travel Partners, builds, and maintain strong business relationships.

Assists with pre and post sales calls inquiries by BDM’s and Travel Partners. Leverages the interactions with Travel Partners to create and maximize selling opportunities. 

Follows up with Travel Partners to assist with business needs, keeps the Travel Partners up to date on the brand's products, promotions and selling tools

Partners with Sales Managers and coordinates the execution of trade related events, ship tours, FAM training functions, and Seminars at Sea. 

Assists with Co-op marketing procedures and ensures accuracy with commissions and claims

Networks and interacts with all relevant internal departments to act on requests and complete service resolution tasks for BDM’s and Trade Partners

Answering incoming phone calls and emails, stays in contact with Travel Partners and follows up in a timely manner.

Assisting Business Development Managers with problem resolution

Ensures excellent customer service is delivered
