How will you contribute to the team?

• Drives and operates straight truck/stake bed trucks.

• Operates auxiliary equipment such as lift gates and forklifts.

• Performs loading/unloading of trucks and securement of cargo.

• Responsible for inspection of vehicles and for its safe operation in all types of weather conditions and difficult terrain.

• Responsible for maintaining forms and inspection reports in accordance with federal motor carrier safety regulations.

• Participates in random drug and alcohol program and subject to a background check.

• Other duties as assigned.

What will you contribute?

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.

• Must have five years ‘experience in operating straight truck/stake bed trucks or similar.

• Must possess a valid and accident-free Tennessee type “A” commercial driver license with an “H” (Hazmat) endorsement. This also includes passing the DOT and State of Tennessee medical and physical examination plus HAZWOPER physical exam.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE security Q-clearance.

• The successful passing of the following additional training, at a minimum, shall be required after the awarding of employment: DOT Transportation Safety, HAZCOM, Rad Worker I & II and HAZWOPER.

• Must be available for overtime, including weekends.

• A Security Q-Clearance is preferred, but not required.

• Must be a U.S. citizen to be considered.
