SAP Global AMS and Delivery Manager

The key duties of this position fall into two categories, provider/AMS management and delivery management.

Provider/AMS Management Key Duties:

• Manage and coordinate all activities of SAP support teams including Basis, Application Managed Services (AMS), and hosting, including:
• Overall delivery ownership and coordination for SAP AMS Build & Run engagements, on shore and offshore
• Single Point of Contact for Orion management for SAP AMS Build & Run engagements
• Hands-on Management and Optimization of AMS Build team, to include: Resource utilization analysis and reporting to IT Management

Load management proactively identifying resource bottlenecks and critical path areas
Provide Time & Cost estimates for Change Requests and SAP Projects based on resource availability and business priorities

• Discuss necessity of change requests with the business and coordinate priorities
• Manage escalations & internal customer communications
• Support team Performance – Monitor compliance with SLAs, KPIs and deliverables and coordinate with internal and external AMS teams to ensure ongoing successful delivery
• Provide weekly status reports
• Conduct SAP governance meetings & present metrics
• Ensure that support roster and information is adequately documented in IT Service Management tool and circulated at regular frequency

Delivery Management Key Duties:

• Support with new initiatives/projects/proposals – Act as SPOC and liaise with service provider AMS organization and internal teams as needed
• Manage and coordinate major change requests
• Take a leading role in the migration of SAP ECC to S/4 HANA
• Act as key Subject Matter Expert (SME) with in-depth coverage of a broad range of SAP functional modules

Qualifications:

• SAP Certified Application Associate and/or other SAP certifications are a plus
• Current PMP certification (a plus) with experience managing SAP projects
• Minimum five years’ experience delivering multiple SAP implementations across various cycles in a heterogenous global Manufacturing company
• Verifiable experience managing project resources and stakeholder management
• Minimum 10 years of knowledge and experience with various SAP modules and functions from a business support perspective
• Experience in SAP licensing models and S/4 HANA licensing transition
• Strong understanding of modern SAP application architectures including Business Technology Platform/Cloud products
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent SAP projects
• Manage change requests to support the project scope of work
• Manage the project budget and provide update reports to track compliance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $89,027.75 - $140,000.00 per year
