The SAP MM Systems analyst will also have primary responsibility for maintaining / managing the SAP MM module. Production support in Materials Management module in discrete manufacturing industry will be preferred. This role must possess the capability to analyze business and technical requirements; develop solutions to address the requirements; and provide subject matter expertise to end users to improve business processes and fully utilize SAP functionality.

• 
  Production Application Support of MM modules in SAP. Knowledge in the following areas are required:
  • Master data like material master, vendor master, purchase info record, source list
  • Purchase requisition to purchase order processing
  • Release strategies for both purchase requisitions and purchase orders
  • Inventory management
  • Warehouse management
  • Material requirements planning
  • Invoice verification
  • Integration between Plant Maintenance module and procurement and inventory
• Leads in performing system configuration related to the SAP MM module
• Communicates effectively and works with end users, various business stakeholders and peers from other cross-functional teams in defining the as-is current process, suggest to-be future process, identify gaps and develop/deploy solutions
• Partner with the procurement and supply chain organization at the department levels to understand business processes and capture business requirements
• Develops and maintains end user training documentation materials, business process procedures, and helps to deliver training to end users as necessary
• Work with other SAP support functional areas to implement solutions from an integration perspective
• Work with the technical developers in implementing solutions in MM module
• Analyze research and resolve requests submitted by the business, using existing technologies and ensuring the solution is aligned with company goals and strategies
• Identify new techniques and technologies and concepts that can add value to business and IT
• Effectively communicate project and work-related information to the team
• Ensure compliance of Carpenter governance practices
• Participate in the planning of and the implementation of multiple sophisticated and cross functional projects simultaneously
• Developing new or maintaining existing documentation, such as, functional specifications and process flow diagrams
• Drives timely resolution of assigned technical and process issues impacting the MM functions and related business processes
• Develops and executes application testing to discover errors and issues in master data, business processes, system design, documentation, or user's lack of experience
• Look for solutions beyond monitoring, support, bring in value addition
• Directs and assists lower level analysts with project tasks and non-standard requests
• Leads in the design, development, integration, implementation and support of SAP related IT solutions for Carpenter's business applications as directed
• Fluent in SAP project methodology and helps to develop project plans accordingly.
• Aids in defining, documenting and managing project scope, goals, priorities, deliverables and timelines that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
• Fluent knowledge of data model for specific SAP MM functional area, helps with data mapping, and data enrichment activities and creates queries to support ad-hoc reporting requirements
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

• Applicant must be ITAR/EAR compliant; United States Citizen or Green Card Holder is a must
• Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, preferably in Computer Science or other technical discipline
• Minimum 10 years of related experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or SAP S/4 HANA specifically in the MM / Procure to Pay module
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in Project Management
• Solid understanding of the integration with other SAP modules is essential
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• English as a primary language
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally if required
• Strong MS Outlook skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proven Competent with MRP Processes, Material Management processes that affect Plant Maintenance success
• Ability to analyze and diagnose SAP MM process and functionality issues/problems
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manager changing priorities
• Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and strong time management skills
• Strong collaboration skills and comfortable working in a team environment

• Knowledge on EDI/IDOCS related to MM is highly desirable
• Knowledge of OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) is highly desirable
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba procurement platform (implementation and / or support) is desirable
• Knowledge in warehouse management (added advantage)
• Experience in heavy manufacturing is desired (metals industry is preferred)
• Experience in full life-cycle SAP MM ERP Projects preferred
