Autonomy: This position works under broad direction and is fully accountable for their own technical work and/or project/supervisory responsibilities. Assignments are received in the form of objectives. Work is often self-initiated.

Influence: The incumbent influences across the DTS organization, internal customers, external partners and peers. This role must build trust through authentic, open communication, listening and understanding and valuing diverse perspectives.

Complexity: This role performs a challenging range and variety of complex professional work activities requiring the ability to understand a variety of technical situations, terminology, and platforms. The successful candidate must be able to ask appropriate questions and establish credibility with technical subject matter experts as well as IT and business leaders. Cross-functional experience in IT delivery is preferred. In addition, this role also has the advantage of being able to see business processes from the ground up and recommend ways to appropriately secure them.

Business Skills: The incumbent analyzes, diagnoses, designs, plans, executes and evaluates work to time, cost and quality targets. Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, formally and informally, written and oral, virtual and in-person, one-on-one and to large audiences. Must demonstrate leadership and facilitate collaboration between stakeholders who have diverse objectives. Is a team player, mentoring others with a high standard for accountability and performance asking, “what else can I do?” to help achieve team and organizational objectives. The incumbent analyzes requirements and advises on scope and options for improvements, demonstrating creativity and innovation in applying solutions.


Responsibilities
:

  • Global Application Delivery – Define, analyze, and deliver business initiatives in accordance with business and IT priorities and annual budgets.
  • Business-IT Strategy - Promote and support the long-range IT systems plan consistent with business objectives. Support and facilitate the alignment of corporate IT strategy to business strategies.
  • Represent the face of IT to the customer. Identify technology opportunities which provide strategic/tactical advantages in planning, managing and conducting the business. Engage with key customers and other external business partners to deliver IT solutions in a high quality, globally conscience manner. Including internal and external audit, cyber-security, internal controls, and application teams.
  • This role will partner with the operational delivery provider to define and execute day to day operations with high quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Have high level understanding of business process and infuse that across the K-C associates. Transform the K-C security associates into pseudo business analysts.
  • Requires strong understanding of SOD (segregation of duties) and how to manage a well-disciplined SAP security environment which protects Kimberly-Clark.
  • Understand how to architect and provision SAP security roles using efficient and standard methods. Ideally understand how to construct and deploy task-based roles.
  • Relentlessly pursues new ways to safeguard K-C from threats and minimizing audit issues.
  • Build Talent – Promote and build global leaders, develop staff with the needed functional and technical skills required to meet K-C’s growing application portfolio and changing technology needs.

  • Provides Business Technology thought leadership, bringing knowledge and solutions to drive business outcomes. Thinks ‘digital’ and embraces next generation ways of doing work.
  • Adopts a GM mindset and has relevant finance/P&L understanding.
  • Provide framework and drive visual management of the team. Setting operational excellence processes / metrics including report generation, KPI’s, and visual dashboards which clearly communicate health of the function. Improve team effectiveness via common ways of working.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8+ years of professional experience working within IT functions. Half of that being in SAP security.
  • Experience managing and participating in large programs and initiatives.
  • Ability to build trust and influence individuals outside of administrative authority.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing people in offsite and remote locations. Including managing delivery partners
  • Excellent command of the English language, including reading, writing, and spoken conversation.
  • Business acumen and the ability to understand contractual terms and conditions.
  • Some (10%) travel may be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of driving and sustaining service level improvements.
  • Technical and functional knowledge of SAP, and common 3rd party bolt-on software.
  • Ability to lead simple problem-solving events, kaizens, and other similar improvement activities.
  • Interpersonal and technical skills to lead an idea such as an “Automation Strategy”, to improve and transform the function.
