We are searching for a talented SCADA Engineering Manager to join our team!

Responsibilities include:

• Lead engineering, design and commissioning of automation and SCADA systems including databases and database interfaces, data analytics and reporting, scripting (Python, VB, etc.) and general programming

• Execute the full SCADA development lifecycle from requirements definition through implementation, manual and automated testing, deployment and commissioning for thin-clients, web and mobile users.

• Administer SCADA systems – Ignition, Geo SCADA, AVEVA

• Develop custom software and scripts to work in conjunction with SCADA systems

• Integrate and manage SCADA database systems to historians (OSIsoft PI, Canary, etc.), measurement/accounting systems (FlowCal, PGAS, etc.), Leak Detection Systems (ATMOS, Emerson PLM, etc.) GIS, and other business intelligence systems for custom reporting and data analytics (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

• Coordinate integration of SCADA system from edge to cloud using communication hardware and industrial networking platforms securely and coupling them with greater data transmission efficiency through protocols like MQTT

• Control Room Management support for regulated assets per PHMSA regulations and guidelines – SCADA displays, Alarm Management and Rationalization, Change Management.

• Drive projects to completion and dive into technical details as necessary to support the project team’s direction and execution.

• Foster cross-functional relationships inter- and intra-departmentally for effective project management.

• Monitor adherence to project schedule and budgets throughout project execution and report progress and status of all aspects to all stakeholders.

• Mentor team members in areas of expertise and assist in recruiting

• Assist business development team in the proposal process by proposing suitable SCADA and IT/OT convergence solution with software and service cost estimates.

Qualified candidates should have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)

• 4+ years of SCADA experience, preferably in the oil and gas, and/or water wastewater industry

• Certifications Requirements – Ignition Gold Certified and/or AVEVA Certified Integrator

• Experience should include a strong record of the successful client interface

• Candidate must possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors

• Ability to read and troubleshoot scripting within the SCADA environment

• Experienced with OPC servers/polling engines (AUTOSOL, Kepware, Matrikon) to connect to field devices

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent documentation and knowledge management skills

• Experienced with SQL (MySQL, MS SQL, etc.) and relational database design

• Strong knowledge of networks including network security and communication protocols

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
