Job description
Coordinates the scheduling, referral management, registration, and insurance verification processes for Tennova hospital patients. Identifies and handles customer needs, providing exceptional customer service in a timely and efficient manner while working in a team environment. Screens and updates established patient information for accuracy. Ensures complete written orders from referring physician offices are obtained within 24 hours of a telephone appointment. Communicates with the SSC to expedite the process of prior authorization and insurance verification to avoid the need to reschedule patients. Communicates directly with the Tennova hospitals to ensure orders are received by the department at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointments.
