Hours available 8-9 a.m. and 2:15-3-45 p.m. Mon-Fri.

$16.00/hr, based on experience.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Ensure the health and safety of all children, while overseeing the creation and delivery of off-site, age-appropriate educational preschool programs. Positively engage with members and families to enhance their experience and their children’s growth at our facility while assisting the Lead Teacher in delivering an age-appropriate educational programming.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Assist children to, on, and off the vehicle.
2. Maintain order and discipline with the children.
3. Adhere to driving schedule.
4. Immediately report vehicle and discipline concerns to supervisor.
5. Refuel and maintain vehicle in accordance with guidelines.
6. Maintain vehicle log.
7. Adhere to work schedule and substitute for other staff as needed.
8. Follow emergency procedures and safety precautions. Follow procedures for reporting all accidents, incidents and hazards.
9. Adhere to all policies, rules, and regulations as outlined in employee handbook and other communications. Obtain and maintain required training(s).
10. Accept additional assignments as deemed appropriate, within the scope of the job description.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum age 21 required.
• Clean driving record required.
