School-Based Counselor

Through a partnership with the Beavercreek City Schools District, we are currently seeking qualified applicants to fill positions for School-based Counselors. Counselors will provide direct mental health treatment and consultation services to students in the Beavercreek City Schools. These positions are full-time during the school calendar year and offer incentives of reduced productivity expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides diagnostic assessments, individual and family counseling to youth under clinical supervision.
  • Develops and maintains quality, accurate clinical charts for all clients served and completes documentation within 24 hours of service.

Education, Certifications, and/or Experience

  • Minimum of Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in youth mental health treatment; youth substance use experience a plus.
  • Minimum of LSW/LPC; LISW/LPCC preferred; dual licensure a plus.
  • Meets all standards and regulations of the Counselor and Social Worker Board of the State of Ohio
  • Must be highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment; must possess excellent typing skills in order to use an Electronic Health Record proficiently.
