- School Liaison
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Public Health, Psychology.
- Level licensed (LSW, LPC, LPCC) by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board preferred, but not required.
- Current Ohio Department of Education Pupils Services License preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Outstanding work record and references.
- Successful BCII & FBI background checks.
- Assessing student social, emotional, and behavioral skills both formally and informally to identify student strengths and need.
- Connecting at-risk youth with helpful resources and conduct home visits to provide additional support.
- Consulting and collaborating with community agencies and other mental health professionals to provide resources to schools, students, and families.
- Connecting parents with community-based services and social services i.e. Medicaid, SSI, services related to homelessness, domestic violence, poverty, Mental Health and substance abuse, juvenile offenders.
- Demonstrating specialized skills within crisis intervention, assessment of crisis situations, and utilization of appropriate intervention strategies for de-escalation and prevention of crisis situations within the educational setting.
- Demonstrating knowledge of the district, state, and federal policies including due process guidelines and child abuse/neglect reporting.
- 201 day contract
