Primary Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with youth and families and assess overall treatment needs by identifying strengths that will assist the youth in reaching treatment goals.
• Meet with youth and families face to face and provide mental health interventions that will assist clients in reaching their overall treatment goals.
• Coordinate the ongoing assessment of the needs of clients and families served and monitoring symptoms and self-management of symptoms that might interfere with a person achieving their highest level of functioning.
• Educates and assists youth and families in learning how to access and utilize community resources and assist in linkage to those resources to meet the overall needs of the youth and family.

Education, Certifications, and/or Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in human/social service field and a LSW or higher preferred.
• 1 year working in mental health services, preferably with youth.
• Valid Ohio driver's license; proof of automobile liability insurance.
• CPR/First Aid Certifications, De-escalation - TCN will provide upon hire
