The Maquoketa Police Department is seeking applicants to fill its School Resource Officer (SRO) position. Candidates must be a certified, experienced police officers who wants to make a positive impact on our students lives. ILEA Certified or Out of State Lateral Officers will be accepted. As the SRO you will be a member of the Maquoketa Police Department assigned to work in the schools during the school year as an SRO. During the summer the SRO position will be utilized as a patrol officer or as an investigator as staffing levels and case volume requires. Maquoketa Police Department offers a generous benefits package:

· Pay $58,060 TO $68,245 DOE

· Patrol Officers Work 12 hours shifts, every other 3-day weekend off

· No Living Requirement
