Job description
This position will entail leak seeking, roof repairs, field inspections, developing a scope of work with a budget, putting together a materials list, and executing work from start to completion. The applicant must be competent in a variety of roofing systems, including single-ply, modified, and built-up asphalt. Experience with diagnosing leaks on HVAC, skylights, masonry, siding, and other potential leak sources would be helpful.
Successful candidates will be eligible for a $500 sign on bonus!
We will provide necessary safety training:
- Build/develop relationships with new and existing customers through excellent service and communication
- Diagnose and make professional repairs on all roof types
- Understand how every major roof type will leak or fail, and determine life expectancy of the roof based on this knowledge
- Perform field inspections, and develop a scope of work to maximize the life expectancy of every major roof type, and provide verbal labor estimates to supervisor when necessary
- Perform all required work, combining safety, customer satisfaction, and quality, all while maintaining the budget
- Communicating and coordinating with the office staff
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years previous commercial roofing experience
- Valid driver s license with a clean driving record
- Pass a drug test
- Be able to work well on your own and in a team environment
- Must have the ability to consistently lift over 50 pounds
- Be willing to work long days outside in all types of weather
