Screw Machine Associate
1st Shift, 6:30AM – 3:00PM M-F
Ability to work overtime and Saturdays
RESPONSIBILITY:
Support the Screw Machine Department and assist Screw Machine Operators and Screw Machine Lead by performing a variety of duties as needed to minimize machine downtime.
JOB DUTIES:
- Deliver steel to and from inventory and unload steel truck as needed.
- Empty and spin chips.
- Maintain chip spinners.
- Weigh parts accurately.
- Keep machines and department clean and orderly.
- Maintain mop buckets throughout the department.
- Sort parts with quality concerns.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Proficiency in basic math such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, fractions, and decimals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift and carry 15 ft. bars (60 pounds max.).
- Ability to stand 75% of the shift.
