You will be a part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional Scrum team. You will advise and oversee the squads on agile values, practices, and processes to ensure that each squad is fully functional, productive, and focused on the sprint goals. You will conduct all the ceremonies of an agile development cycle such as sprint planning, daily standups, feature refinements, sprint demos, and retrospectives.

You will support the development team and product owners in delivering incremental value for each sprint for each of the products. You will facilitate the scrum process, protect the team from interference, and remove obstacles so that the team can deliver the sprint goals. You will remove impediments and act as a shield from external distractions.

What you’ll do

  • Facilitate scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews /demos, and sprint retrospectives
  • Assist the Scrum team to become a self-organized, cross-functional, and highly efficient team that delivers high-quality products
  • Coach the team in practicing agile principles, identify team training opportunities, and engage necessary expertise to facilitate
  • Deliver appropriate and effective executive-level communication
  • Organize and facilitate all agile ceremonies to ensure appropriate team commitments
  • Document the action items from the various meetings and follow up with the respective stakeholders
  • Help to identify, remove, and/or escalate impediments, risks, and dependencies that could hinder the team’s ability to deliver on the sprint goal or long-term commitments
  • Coach leaders to develop a product mindset and coach the organization overall on the adoption of agile
  • Foster psychological safety

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with Agile and Scrum
  • Strong knowledge and expertise with Agile concepts
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of fundamentals of iterative development and software development processes and procedures
  • Proven ability in building effective partnerships with diverse groups in multiple locations/environments
  • Strong relationship management skills; able to set priorities, influence others, manage customer expectations, and effect change through influence and partnerships
  • Able to communicate well with all levels of the organization from Scrum team members to executive level
  • Effective communication, team dynamics, conflict resolution, mentoring, and servant leadership skills

The salary for this role is between $82,100 – $164,100
