SUMMARY
This position is responsible for sales growth and ongoing management for the NE territory of the United States. In this position you would be responsible for supervising the Sales Support Team ensuring timely completion of pricing and order entry as well as maintaining a professional and team-oriented work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to the following:
- Prospect for new business within the given territory using a consultative sales approach.
- Increase overall sales and achieve revenue/margin objectives within the defined region.
- Work to on board new accounts, and maintain them long-term.
- Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company’s relationship with them.
- Work closely with other sales regions and Engineering as required while maintaining professional work relationships.
- Provide the necessary sales funnel activity to generate market leads and close new deals.
- Manage and log customer data and contacts into CRM.
- Provide order updates to customers as requested.
- Travel throughout your region to network and build relationships with new and existing customers, Travel up to 50%
- Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in business/marketing or from a four-year college or relevant degree required. Prior knowledge or experience with building products and/or the commercial construction process strongly preferred. Requires strong communication skills, being detail oriented, and have excellent organizational skills. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and CRM required. Ability to read/understand construction drawings in AutoCAD preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While this position will consist of office work, it will require visits to manufacturing facilities. The employee may have to be on the production floor surrounded by moving mechanical parts and equipment as well as on job sites, as necessary. The employee must comply with the dress code and PPE requirement such as safety glasses with side shields and steel toed shoes. Temperatures and noise levels vary.
