Job Summary: The Barista is responsible for providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products while maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greeting each guest in a friendly manner
• Provides quality beverages for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards while following health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Ensuring safety of children
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the café area as well as restrooms and party rooms
• Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them
• Knowledge of the drink menu and parties and party scheduling
• Providing great customer service

Requirements:

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have great organizational skills
• Must be friendly and outgoing
• Must like working with children
• Must be able to work weekends
• Able to speak to and interact with children in a proper manner
• Ability to provide top notch customer service
• Maintain a positive and fun attitude and ability to work well under pressure
• Does high-quality work while unsupervised
• Able to walk and stand in the same position for long periods of time
• Able to safely lift trays of food and/or gifts of up to 30lbs if necessary
• Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point of sale system
