POSITION

Position Overview:

The Operations Associate is primarily responsible for performing the following tasks: active picking/putaway, cycle counting, prepacking, material handling, put-to-store (PTS), cubed order packing and inter-building transfer packing (IBT). Secondary responsibilities may include other Distribution duties such as vendor packing and CFC packing. Overall responsibilities include the timely and accurate processing of customer and vendor orders; maintaining the integrity of merchandise in a manner that is consistent with Tiffany & Co.'s policies and procedures; communicating departmental concerns to the Coordinator and/or Supervisor; and complying with all company policies and procedures. Primary and secondary responsibilities may require the use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and a Radio Frequency (RF) device.

Key Accountabilities:

  • PRODUCTION
  • Consistently meet or exceed productivity requirements based on business needs and metrics communicated by the area supervisor.
  • Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of Tiffany assets and all orders consistent with TCO policies and procedures.
  • Follow Care and Handling procedures and maintain a clean, neat and organized work area with attention to recycling efforts.
  • Work safely at all times by consistently following all safety work procedures. Promptly, report all incidents and safety issues to your supervisor. Follow proper procedures with all supplied equipment (safety knives, pallet jacks, etc.) and use of supplied protective equipment (eyewear, gloves, shoes etc.
  • GENERAL OPERATIONS
  • Meetings, administrative tasks and special projects.
  • Prioritize email communication and administrative functions as required by the task.
  • SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
  • Demonstrates skills and relevant knowledge. Work to broaden skill set by participating in E-learning and cross-training.

Required Qualifications:

  • Basic computer skills (keyboard, Intranet, Outlook)
  • Basic problem solving skills
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Ability to repetitively lift up to 35 lbs. and on occasion lifting 50 lbs.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 250 lbs.
  • Ability to work with a hand held device or tablet
  • Ability to walk and stand consistently in the area while performing functions
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including overtime

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of pick ticket management system (PkMS), warehouse management system (WMS), material handling system and merchandise information processing system (MIPS)
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook applications
