Overview

As a Security Lobby Receptionist, you will serve and safeguard the employees of AWG, New

Age Logistics and the visitors to our facility. We are seeking an individual who will engage with

all those he/she encounters in a friendly and professional manner while maintaining the idea

that safety and security is the top priority.

Responsibilities:

• Excellent customer service

• Welcome visitors and staff, answer phone calls, and contact division personnel as necessary

• Sign in visitors, issue visitor badges, and assist with directions

• Create and issue access badges to employees and contractors

• Monitor CCTV cameras for suspicious activity and report to the regional security manager

• Perform other security tasks as required by the RSM

• Perform other tasks for the division as approved by the RSM

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in

accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent

permitted by law

• Basic computer skills to include word processing and spreadsheet navigation

• Great organization skills and the ability to adapt to changes in work instructions as

situations dictate

Desired qualifications and/or experience:

• Previous employment as a receptionist or security officer. Military or law enforcement

experience is a plus

• Previous experience with access control systems

• Previous experience with video surveillance systems or CCTV

• Significant familiarity with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, etc.) and/or the Google suite

of products
