This professional nursing position performs highly skilled administrative and clinical nursing in the various locations. This clinician provides effective care and treatment of clients with psychiatric, intellectual disabilities or primary health care needs with the support of a professional interdisciplinary team of physicians, case managers, therapists, and other clinical and support professionals. Utilization of exceptional clinical judgement, professional nursing skills, communication, problem solving and ability to utilize electronic medical record systems will allow this position to succeed. This nursing position will support behavioral health, substance use, developmental disabilities, primary care, early childhood, and medicated assisted treatment programs. This position is scheduled for work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. This RN will be under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and the Regional Center Director.
Salary: $35.58 – $37.33/hr
Applicable Differentials:
$0.75/hr Bilingual
$1.00/hr Psych Certification
$1.00/hr 2 yrs with BTCS
$1.00/hr 4 yrs with BTCS
$1.00/hr 6 yrs with BTCS
Location: Seguin, Gonzales, Lockhart
2. Ability to work collaboratively and be part of a multidisciplinary professional team.
3. Ability to demonstrate understanding and support of agency policies, legal considerations and professional
ethics.
4. Computer literate with working knowledge of Windows/MS office applications.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills
6. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
1. ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Certification or CARN certification
2. Experience working with Individuals with developmental disabilities
3. Experience in a psychiatric acute treatment unit, psychiatric home care, psychiatric outpatient clinic and
or office based opiate treatment center
4. Experience working with individuals who have substance use disorders
