Essential Functions:
- Client Accounting Services personnel are directly responsible for multiple client accounts.
- Job duties include (but are not limited to)
- Supervise staff
- Review and train staff
- Assisting clients in clean-up of their general ledger and process improvements
- Serve as outsourced CFO and Accountant for growing clients
- Systems conversion and integration
- Financial analytical skills
- Ability to research and understand unfamiliar accounting systems
- Competency and skill sets include (but are not limited to)
- A strong knowledge of accounting principles and standard accounting processes
- Account reconciliation and supporting documentation
- Analyze transactions and accounts for accuracy and reasonableness
- Review clients accounting methodologies and develop practical solutions
- Manage time and client expectations
- Communicate appropriately and effectively with all levels in an organization internally and externally
Requirements:
- 4 year Degree in Accounting and 3 years’ experience or 8 years’ experience
- Working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Experience with various accounting software
- Available to work additional hours January through March
- High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
- Personal characteristics include integrity, professional in attitude and appearance and trustworthiness
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to review and identify financial areas in recording and reporting of financial statements that allow efficiency, accuracy and timely reporting
- Full financial statement understanding
