MPG is hiring an experienced Senior Accountant to be responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities.

• Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
• Prepare journal entries, analysis, and account reconciliations to support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Meet accounting and reporting deadlines
• Respond to information requests from internal and external parties
• Assist with compiling reports for the annual financial statement audit
• Ensure compliance with GAAP
• Identify process improvements and ways to automate current processes
  

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in accounting

• CPA (can be inactive) or CMA required

• At least two years of accounting experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and ERP software

• Excellent teamwork and organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong work ethic

• Commitment to positive and professional interpersonal relationships
