MPG is hiring an experienced Senior Accountant to be responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities.
- Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries, analysis, and account reconciliations to support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Meet accounting and reporting deadlines
- Respond to information requests from internal and external parties
- Assist with compiling reports for the annual financial statement audit
- Ensure compliance with GAAP
- Identify process improvements and ways to automate current processes
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in accounting
- CPA (can be inactive) or CMA required
- At least two years of accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and ERP software
- Excellent teamwork and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Commitment to positive and professional interpersonal relationships
