Overview:
We're currently seeking a Sr. Analyst, Payroll who will be responsible for key payroll management duties for multi-state US payroll activity, such as auditing the monthly payroll data and processes, ensuring the accuracy of each payroll cycle, calculating back payments and pay adjustments, validating PTO accrued, available and used is properly calculated and reported, address audit and compliance requirements and employee queries, work with 3rd party payroll-related service providers, etc.

We're currently seeking a Sr. Analyst, Payroll who will be responsible for key payroll management duties for multi-state US payroll activity, such as auditing the monthly payroll data and processes, ensuring the accuracy of each payroll cycle, calculating back payments and pay adjustments, validating PTO accrued, available and used is properly calculated and reported, address audit and compliance requirements and employee queries, work with 3rd party payroll-related service providers, etc.
How you will contribute:
- Oversee weekly/bi-weekly payroll processing including the following key functions.
- Analyze and interpret payroll data and provide recommendations.
- Ensure proper collection and validation of weekly and bi-weekly payroll data and transmits files for processing.
- Ensure that mandatory and voluntary withholdings and deductions are accurately calculated and reported.
- Ensure PTO usage and anniversary bonus PTO is properly applied and processed.
- Complete new hire setup in payroll and PTO system.
- Validate assignment of PTO policy, proper first year pro-ration, and initial PTO level.
- Ensure PTO stepup is properly processed on anniversary date (and settled as bonus time or payment in lieu).
- Validate the PTO allowed, used, paid and available are properly calculated and reported for our customized PTO program (front loads up to 80 hours and accrues each pay cycle).
- Assist employees or managers with questions about payroll policies and pay discrepancies.
- Supports payroll compliance requirements.
- Ensures proper preparation and filing of yearend W-2s and other related tax filings or reports.
- Ensures payroll records reconcile with quarterly and annual filings.
- Supports data collection requirements for compliance, financial, workers compensation insurance and other audits.
- Supports data collection process for annual ESOP share allocation.
- Supports reconciliation of payroll records to General Ledger.
- Other Duties and Projects as Assigned.
