Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office (Senior Applications Engineer). In this function you will develop rotary control valve (aka control ball valve) quotations for customers and partners for mainly midstream oil and gas applications.

You will act as a product and quotation specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, procurement, order entry and operations.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Prepare quotations for the rotary control valve/s.
• Evaluate customer inquiries and technical specifications.
• Sizing and selection of rotary control valves and actuators.
• Cost calculation, if necessary in cooperation with the relevant departments
• Pricing based on market, customer and competitive landscape
• Technical and commercial proposal generation
• Order acceptance, review, and transfer to the plant.
• And any other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Engineer.
• Control valve and automation experience strongly preferred
• Midstream oil and gas industry application knowledge helpful
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• BS or BA Degree in technical field and/or 5-7 years relevant experience (longer experience welcome)
