The Opportunity
- This is a remote position BUT must be located in the state of Minnesota (MN) OR is an in-office position but must be located in Lewisville, TX
- This person will have direct reports (internal analysts).
Reporting to Ally Special Servicing (Bankruptcy Supplier Management). If you enjoy leading a successful team and driving results, then this is the right opportunity for you! The Work Itself
General Duties
- Uses business rationale in presentations to influence leaders on projects
- Identifies opportunities to drive performance and increase value
- Partners with Support groups to achieve broader objectives
- Ensures Processes are documented & working as designed
- Identifies & Implements approved Process updates
- SME & Develops other SME’s for assigned channel
- Leads by example
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a team of bankruptcy supplier analysts
- Development and refinement of metrics & drivers to evaluate performance
- Prepare and present executive presentations of findings to senior levels of leadership
- Implementation of a formal end to end process cycle (design / implementation / monitoring / improvement)
- Utilize strong analytical & process improvements skills to deliver reductions in expense or compliance risk
o i.e. Employ DMAIC methodology/business case/problem statement/hypothesis development/validation
- Effectively employ influence and collaboration to drive results in a matrix environment to achieve business results
- Lead initiatives that drive quantitative business improvements (Recovery, Cost reduction, Process enhancements, Compliance)
The Skills You Bring
Qualifications:
- 4+ years people leadership experience
- 8+ years of Financial Services Experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Led small to medium sized projects to completion
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in ambiguous environments
- High degree of personal accountability, passion, execution, and ownership
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in fast paced environment
- Experienced at communicating high level results and issue analysis with Sr. Leaders
- Knowledge of licensing, reporting, and regulatory requirements specific to financial servicing
- Experience with interactions involving cross functional teams (BL Risk, Compliance, Legal, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- End to end bankruptcy knowledge
- Supplier management experience
- 10+ years of Financial Services experience
- Project / Process Management experience
- Certifications in area of specialization i.e. Lean Six Sigma
