Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and interpreting business requirements, and translating them into actional insights that will drive business performance and growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business analysis, data analysis, and project management, as well as excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
In addition to the normal expectations of a Business Analyst, it will be important that successful candidates:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into detailed specifications and designs.
- Conduct analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to improve business performance.
- Develop business cases and cost-benefit analysis to support proposals and approvals.
- Lead the development and implementation of new business processes.
- Ensure project timelines are met and budgets are adhered to.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Are comfortable with frequent course corrections and rapid rates of change.
- Are self-starters when it comes to educating themselves on new topics and technologies.
- Are energized by business process automation opportunities and the application of technology to business and clinical workflow challenges.
- Be comfortable with ambiguity.
Qualifications
- Business, Computer Science, Accounting or Economics degrees preferred. Proficient at using MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
- Skilled in using Access and SQL Server database including querying and report generation. 3-5 years of experience required.
- Experience in healthcare analytics and/or health benefits preferred.
- Requires analytical and financial capabilities, as well as some statistical background preferred.
