Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of compliance department or other relevant experience
- Knowledge of federal consumer financial protection laws
- Knowledge of state repossession laws and other laws, rules, and regulations applicable to Cottonwood Financial
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to identify potential compliance related risks
- Accountable with a strong sense of ownership to drive outstanding results with a high sense of urgency and accuracy
- Local (Dallas/Fort Worth area) candidates only – no relocation
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and not require sponsorship in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Compliance Certification (CRCM, CAMS, or other relevant certifications)
- Experience developing compliance guidelines for short term credit products
- FinTech (online/digital) lending experience
Compensation
- Starting annual salary of $97,310
Workplace
- Flexibility of a hybrid work schedule, working remotely from your home office in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and on-site at our Administrative Office (HQ) in Irving (Las Colinas), TX
