In this role, you will use your expertise to partner with senior level executives across leading global organizations to develop, define, and implement strategies to help identify opportunities and build capabilities in sustainability, ESG and decarbonization (i.e.. develop decarbonization roadmaps, identify portfolio reshaping opportunities for sustainable healthcare institutions). You will be an important resource for intellectual insight on provider projects, framing business problems in a way that the team can execute to drive impact and provider value.
Within Vizient’s teams, you will help shape our providers’ strategic sustainability agendas and solve their decarbonization challenges. You will develop into a knowledge specialist on those perspectives, become a credible thought partner to a broad set of senior stakeholders and develop strong relationships within the network of sustainability practitioners.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced interpretation of results, manipulating data to drive change, act as a resource for less experienced consultants on data interpretation and storytelling.
- Develop into a knowledge specialist on sustainability perspectives and be a credible thought partner to a broad set of senior stakeholders.
- Develop and execute project plans that meet project schedule, budget and expected value
- Utilize project management methodology to guide work efforts.
- Facilitate member meetings and discussions, present recommendations to senior leadership.
- Manage mid to senior-level member relationships and expectations.
- Identify possible upsell opportunities and discuss ideas with a more senior project team member.
- Outline a plan for developing or improving products / services / tools / methods in functional area of focus.
- Leverage team members to participate in the creation of intellectual capital and share example deliverables with colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 5 or more years of experience in Consulting and/or Operations required.
- Experience in the fields of carbon accounting, decarbonization plan, decarbonization technologies (renewables, CCUS, etc.), and/or sustainability required.
- Expertise in Carbon capture technologies or Carbon sequestration.
- Strong interest in the sustainability challenges for businesses primarily in the industrial environments.
- Strong interest in climate change and sustainability topics.
- Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis.
- Ability to think strategically and within fast paced and complex environment.
- Ability to lead teams working on both quantitative and qualitative workstreams.
- Interest in operations service area for large organizations preferably in sustainability

Estimated Hiring Range:
$88,900.00 - $132,250.00
