Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Director, Business Enablement & Performance for the DP+I organization in the Product & Technology Division. This position reports to the SVP of DP+I, and will lead the strategic project development and implementation, internal communications, and operational initiatives for the organization. The person in the role will be a key member of the leadership team and act as the thought partner, drive the key initiatives that set up the organization for scale, agility, and high performance; drive consistency; bring alignment for execution and clarity of roles in the execution plans.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Core Services, and Business Operations to execute against a roadmap that prioritizes amazing customer experiences. And you will raise the bar for planning, assessment of metrics, and inspirational leadership in ways that uplift our planning processes and elevate our capability within the company.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with leaders to ensure alignment across the organization on overall strategic goals, standards, OKRs, and KPIs for each planning cycle to provide “eyes on validation” of data to present

  • Drive orchestration of work streams and initiatives, coordinating with product lines to ensure consistency in execution

  • Lead cross functional initiatives that sets up the organization for scale, agility, operating efficiency, and high performance

  • Drive resource allocation that is aligned with the strategic goals - Ensure that priority projects are appropriately resourced, driving trade off decisions occur as necessary

  • Partner with Product Strategy to ensure consistent prioritization of product roadmaps across divisions to coordinate key priorities and timelines

  • Partner with teams across Product 7 tech to increase sharing of best practices, technologies, and techniques.

  • Act as the delegate for the SVP of DP+I on one or more initiatives

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field; MBA or master’s in related field is a plus or equivalent experience

  • 7 + years of experience in business planning prioritization and headcount management or Chief of Staff role, or related capability

  • Outstanding communication and organizing skills, both written and verbal. Excellent business and technical judgement - conceptualize complex ideas quickly and convey those thoughts to others in a clear, effective, and motivating manner.

  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills, including demonstrated success developing executive communications and working across senior leadership to curate content.

  • Strong team-building skills, analytical, collaboration, and motivation skills

  • Advanced abilities to “connect the dots” and very comfortable using data to speak truth to power

  • Team-player approach and willingness to collaborate

  • Able to work independently and take the initiative to solve tough problems

  • A growth mindset and a passion to constantly learn and improve

The total cash range for this position in Seattle and Austin is $277,000 to $387,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $443,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $255,000 to $357,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $408,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
