AG Consulting Engineering, PC (AG) a design, engineering and construction management firm headquartered in Manhattan, New York is looking for several Senior Electrical Design Engineers to support a variety of infrastructure projects in New York City. Duration is long term.

Position: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Location: New York City

Projects: Variety of projects

Responsibilities:

The candidate’s experience should include a broad range of completed projects related specifically to the MEP consultancy field of electrical engineering.

Project experience should include (at a minimum); service utility coordination, primary and secondary power distribution for Federal/State/City/Agencies, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage infrastructure, emergency power systems, UPS design, and coordination with city and state permitting agencies.

The candidate will be expected to lead the electrical design on a variety of project types, and will also be called upon to lead larger multi-discipline teams as the project manager, interfacing directly with the client.

Prepare technical reports/specifications.

The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to organize and present design information to our clients.

Special consideration will be given to those candidates who have successfully demonstrated innovative design experience specifically related to sustainable, high performing buildings for public and private sector.

Mission Critical Experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum five years’ experience designing electrical systems for the built environment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MicroStation

Pay: $90,413.00 - $144,465.00 per year
