Responsible for leading the design, planning, execution, control & monitoring of Business & Customer Solutions deployed through Fulfillment. Organize and lead project and product deployment by applying industrial design engineering and project management discipline in meeting Deluxe's desired outcomes in delighting customers internally and externally.
Manage and be the source of communication within Fulfillment on the IDE roadmap, planning, and interface with leaders to ensure we have a view into the priorities and feedback.
Planning, scheduling of cross channel demands within engineering and provide holistic view to better manage resources and business needs
Technical lead on large or high profile engineering projects for Fulfillment representing the department and effectively manage projects through fulfillment.
Manage and be the key interface to coordinate the IDE AOP plan, cost savings deliverables, and responsible for tracking progress and reporting to business partners.
Design, implement, and manage the engineering key metrics in alignment with our Fulfillment dashboard.
Technical interface and product owner for Major Account’s channel, with expansion into other channels as business demands require. Responsible to support the product management organization and ensure successful and cost effective manufacturability of our products through Fulfillment.
Manage the RFP process for fulfillment, lead the effort within Fulfillment and be the interface with the business.
Manage the IDE cost models, estimating program (PIMS tool), ensuring business alignment accuracy, maintenance, and ongoing improvements.
Manage the annual research and development qualified projects, data gathering, criteria build and be the interface with internal tax to provide reporting.Be the lead for the IDE department ensuring the team is informed, keeping appropriate records, and sustaining the requirements for R&D qualified tax activities.
Manage the IDE Share Point site, workflows, with an eye to more efficient ways of controlling our information in specifications, standards, communications, and the like.
Be a lean champion for the department by implementing/sustaining engineering standards, provide guidance to other engineers in lean training, certification and coaching for engineering standards and implementation.
Responsible for the complex design feasibility of new/existing products, product costing, and make buy options.Product channel owner in the analysis and recommendation of product capabilities and fulfillment solutions.
Responsible for semi-finished goods set up of the product, bill of material, routes, and costing through manufacturing.Own product specifications, testing, implementation, and aftermarket support.
Position may include other duties as determined by the company.
Basic Qualifications (BQs)
Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science or Graphic Arts and 5 experience or HS/GED and 9 years experience with computers and servers in Graphic Arts and Manufacturing environments.
Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
Deep understanding and experience with Business and Financial Acumen; advanced financial skills, ability to analyze large amounts of complex data, and culminate options.
Appreciation for business demands and high level of management skills to balance and organize multiple priorities.
Advanced Technical problem solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; hold presentation skills and experience presenting to middle to upper levels of the organization.
Solid knowledge of SAP (or similar operating/manufacturing systems)
Demonstrated success implementing lean initiatives/improvements.
