Senior Enterprise Systems Analyst, National Medical Care, Inc., a Fresenius Medical Care N.A. company, Waltham, Massachusetts (Remote)

Purpose and Scope:

Responsible for reviewing, analyzing and modifying IT systems including encoding, testing, debugging, installing and maintaining windows-based enterprise software applications. This

position will collaborate with key users to support existing applications and implement solutions to improve business processes. The Systems Analyst will include contributing to project-based

development work, as well as providing day-to-day support of existing applications. Specific duties and responsibilities include:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and analyze user needs, define detailed business, functional and technical requirements and present recommendations for solutions.
• Formulating and defining the technical components of system scope and objectives.
• Based on technical requirements and specifications, designing, architecting, coding, testing and implementing software application and systems development solutions to meet business requirements.
• Conducting ABAP programming tasks with MM, PP, WM, and SD in an SAP R/3 environment.
• Enhancing existing applications using Customer Exit, User Exits BADI, BTE and Enhancement Framework.
• Developing inbound/outbound interface applications using BAPI, Remote Function calls, ALE/EDI and IDOCs.
• Developing Dialog Programs using module pool programs and designing screens using Screen Painter and Menu Painter.
• Developing data migration programs using BDCs Session Method, Call Transaction, CATT and LSMW for uploading legacy data into the SAP system.
• Modifying layout sets using Smart Forms and associated control programs.
• Developing interfaces using SOAP based Web Services, IDoc and SFTP.
• Monitoring task schedules, status, costs and adherence to specifications and development priorities.
• Providing technical leadership to other systems analysts and software developers.

Education Experience and Required Skills:

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a closely-related field and 5 years of experience as an enterprise Systems Analyst working with SAP. Must also have 5 years of experience (which can have been gained concurrently with the primary experience requirement) with the following:

• SAP ABAP including Architecture Description, Data Flow Diagrams, Mapping Specifications, Mapping Rules, Test Conditions and Test Scripts;
• The development and delivery of RICEFW objects in multiple areas of SAP such as SD, WM, FI/CO, MM, HCM and FMS;
• Creating Reports including Interactive Reports, ALV reports, BDCs, Scripts, Dialog Programs, Function Modules, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Points, BTE, IDOCs, LSMW, Smart forms, Workflows, OOPS ABAP Objects, ALE/IDOCs and Webservices using RESTful API;
• Implementing SAP Integration with Cloud platforms including working with Concur, Blackline, Veeva Vault and SAP Cloud;
• SAP ABAP S4 HANA and OData services, building Apps with the SAP Fiori using SAP Business Application Studio and ABAP Webdynpro as well as technical configuration on the Presentation Layer (BSPs).
