POSITION DESCRIPTION

Responsible for preparation of the financial statements and other financial analyses.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Prepare and/or review monthly financial statements and account schedules for management and department review.
• Prepare and/or review clinic financial statements and operations analyses for management.
• Respond to physicians’ requests for collections, charges, incentive projections, and breakeven analysis.
• Provide ad hoc analysis as requested by management utilizing various data sources and systems including Athena Analytics.
• Manage FRx reporting system and write reports for the Finance department.
• Review, design, and implement processes for the annual budgeting process.
• Assist with annual audits and prepare schedules requested by auditors.
• Adhere to financial procedures to ensure proper posting to the ledger according to current practice and GAAP.
• Adheres to the workflow design established for the department and meets all job performance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Skills:Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel

Ability to work under pressure and be able to analyze data
Report information
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
The ability to work in a team environment with shared responsibilities is critical

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:Certified Public Accountant - CPA or Master's Business Administration - MBA
• ExperienceSix or more years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field. Preferably in the Healthcare industry

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Primarily inside in well-lighted, well-ventilated areas.
• Primarily sedentary in nature with occasional lifting of small objects weighing approximately 10 pounds
