Clatsop County occupies the northwest corner of Oregon bounded to the north by the Columbia River and to the west by the Pacific Ocean. Named for the Clatsop Indians, Clatsop County is rich in history, scenery and opportunity.

Seeking one human resources professional to perform complex professional, technical, and confidential work required to administer and provide day-to-day support to departments for a variety of human resources programs, including employee and labor relations, classification and compensation, employee benefits, protected leave, recruitment and selection, employee training, performance appraisal, coaching and progressive discipline, and general policies and laws regarding employment practices.

Requires Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, organizational development, business administration, human resources/labor relations administration or a related field AND at least three (3) years of experience in Human Resources management OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
