Job Description

Duties

• Provides support to read and analyze highly technical materials and to create presentations of that information. This may be specifications, drawings, user manuals, presentations, reports, or training documents.
• Authors complex software documentation, including user manuals, release notes, installation guides, design guides, training materials, technical guidance, and other technical documentation.
• This individual will partner with other teams, such as development, customer engineering, marketing, and technical support groups to understand and respond to customer documentation needs.
• Create new documentation and evaluate, edit, improve, and correct legacy documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree + 8 relevant years
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, math, and science degrees are required
• When supporting tasks that are Information Technology Systems Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Network Analysis/Design/Test, any combination of degree, certification and relevant experience will be considered if the relevant experience requirement is satisfied.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

• Advanced ability to design and develop Microsoft Products to include; Office, Project and SharePoint.
• Excellent writing, editing, drafting and journaling skills, to include the ability to design and create documents and artifacts from notional ideas.
• Conceptual and practical understanding of all project management knowledge areas preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and handle tight deadlines.
• Highly responsive to requested needs
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work with confidential and proprietary information using utmost discretion
