The Senior Inventory Analyst reports to the VP of Supply Chain, and is located in Bedford Park, IL or Mansfield, MA.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr. Inventory Analyst is responsible for providing planning, integration, and analysis on inventory levels. The primary function of this role is to improve working capital by the use of data to bring visibility to opportunities for improvement in stocking positions, non-stock deliveries, and obsolete inventory. This role is also responsible for communicating and collaborating with internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Experience and skill presenting concepts to multiple audiences
  • Conduct complex analysis and research on a wide range of studies and activities affecting all organizational levels
  • Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs, related to inventory levels
  • Identify enhancement opportunities to improve inventory levels and forecasting, implement and streamline the process
  • Ensure alignment and prioritization with business objectives and initiatives – explaining and helping business groups make faster and better decisions
  • Support strategic Supply Chain initiatives with analysis accompanied by actionable recommendations
  • Assist in the planning, requirements development, and execution of activities related to working capital improvement
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

  • Detailed and organized to allow for quick and accurate data gathering and analysis
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, utilizing current and future ERP systems as well as home grown applications focused on data manipulation and reporting
  • Capacity to analyze business processes and recommend improvements which will lead to productivity and thru-put
  • May be required to work weekends and work from home when applicable
  • Ability to travel – 5%
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of working in a decision support analytic function
  • Experience in a multi-state environment preferred
  • Exceptional computer skills in the operation and functioning of all programs used by the organization, including advanced skills in MS Office Suite, and the ability to quickly learn and utilize company enterprise software
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate’s unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark’s’ benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
