Position Summary


Under the direction of the Director of IT, the Senior IT Support Specialist is responsible for establishing systems and processes that ensure the efficient and effective support of computers, mobile devices, software, and infrastructure leveraged by the Town of Breckenridge.

This position troubleshoots and resolves complex IT issues, is the primary point of contact for day-to-day technical trouble help desk tickets, oversees daily configuration changes of the Town's Microsoft 365 environment and more.

Qualifications

Education & Experience


  • High School diploma required. College degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years working in an IT operations support environment.
  • Experience working with Active Directory and Group Policy is required.
  • Experience working in Microsoft 365 - Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive is required.
  • Experience working in a Windows Server environment is required.
  • Experience performing basic networking configurations and troubleshooting is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of work with Microsoft 365 suite of desktop applications is required.
  • Experience with managing an Antivirus software across an organization is required.
  • Experience with automating patch management across an organization is required.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
Microsoft and networking certifications preferred but not required with adequate experience.

Additional Information

Full Pay Range: $2,660- $3,960 per pay period or $74,360 - $102,960 if annualized
Hiring Range: $2,660-$3,410 per pay period of $74,360-88,660 if annualized
