Your role at Sephora... As our Senior Manager, Commerce Partnerships New Verticals, you will serve as the point person for the Commerce Partners relationships (e.g. Sephora @ Zappos), overseeing the day-to-day business (strategy & operations), accountable for the business performance, including sales, and act as an advisor on the best way to bring their beauty clients the Sephora beauty products they crave. You will become well versed in all aspects of Sephora.com and be able to translate (and advocate) that to the New Partner commerce properties. You ensure the internal team and Partner teams have the playbooks and tools necessary to successfully hit targets, grow the businesses, and offer a stellar client experience including ensuring operational excellence, resolving pain points, and managing enhancements to the partnership. The role reports to the Director, Commerce Partnerships.

  • Oversee day-to-day “account management” of New Partners (e.g. Sephora @ Zappos) including meeting ownership, agendas, roadmap alignment, cross-business workstreams, and project managing in-progress workflow, following up with cross-functional partners and overall accountability
  • Achieve the financial goals of the Partnership by closely monitoring performance, gleaning actionable insights from performance reporting, and driving toward active lever management
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with the Partner organization(s) and key internal cross-functional partners within Sephora, driving focus and accountability to best actions to drive the business
  • Advocating and influencing to ensure a stellar and seamless client experience on Partner properties, creatively problem-solving challenges with actionable recommendations and actively working to ensure the execution of initiatives and workstreams to reach collective goals
  • Work closely to gain alignment with key Sephora functional groups to ensure Partner is leveraging Sephora assets, strategies, and processes
  • Develop playbooks, templates, scalable processes, and business structures supportive of sizably growing the partnership
  • Key point person responsible for the coordination and alignment of the cross-functional teams and workstreams including client experience & product/tech roadmap, and operational and post-purchase experience, including supporting financial reconciliation coordination, or other areas of the business as needed
  • In partnership with the key cross-functional partners, identify opportunities to build infrastructure and key functionality across the Partner ecosystem to improve the client experience. Program manage enhancements and roadmap initiatives
  • Maintain expertise in digital commerce and related best practices by staying current with trends and competition

  • 7+ years ecommerce experience in eCommerce, partnerships, or consumer digital business strategy & operations
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively find common ground among partners with various communication styles and goals, and operate with high energy and flexibility in a changing environment
  • High level of initiative, able to work independently on multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated background in driving/operating a digital commerce business, reaching financial targets & optimizing levers
  • Strong focus on follow-through and execution of projects across teams and/or organizations
  • Exemplary analysis and problem-solving resolution at a strategic, financial, and tactical level
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work and lead cross-functionally to resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Very proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel to Commerce Partners locations, potentially involving overnight(s) travel


The annual base salary range for this position is $138,000.00 - $155,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
