We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Analysis to join our FP&A team at the Foley Cellulose mill located near Palatka, FL. This role will be a key business partner providing financial and analytical support for manufacturing operations at the mill and corporate senior leadership as well as mentoring and collaborating with the FP&A teams at other facilities within the division.

How you succeed: This role requires a strong background of driving operational improvements by providing actionable manufacturing analysis, cost analysis & benchmark reporting, as well as process improvement tracking for management. You will also create value by driving process improvements that lead to new tools, processes, and capabilities that will be used to eliminate waste. While in this position you will obtain excellent knowledge of the key drivers of success in our business and will be provided the opportunity to learn from all levels of management in preparation for your next role with us. You will also help assure successes of the team through mentorship of junior team members both at the Foley facility and within the division.
This role supports our mill near Palatka, FL. We have a hybrid schedule of in office and remote workdays but do require a regular onsite presence. Our Georgia-Pacific Corporate HQ is located in downtown Atlanta, GA.
What You Will Do
- Report and analyze monthly results and trends
- Provide analytical support for investment projects
- KPI and cost benchmarking/bet tracking and analysis
- Planning and forecasting support
- Ad hoc analysis
- Provide input and recommendations for process improvements by respectfully challenging historical practices
- Proactively build mutually beneficial relationships with others, to better understand and utilize the resources available to the business
- Leverage a natural curiosity and entrepreneurial mind-set to identify opportunities that create value and advance the current state

- Mentor and develop less experienced financial analysts on the team
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Progressive career experience in a financial analysis, accounting, cost accounting, operations finance, or related role(s)
Understanding of key accounting and financial concepts, cost accounting principles, business drivers and key performance indicators
Cost analytics experience and/or financial modeling experience
Collaboration/Contribution mindset: You seek to build working relationships and partner with others to bridge gaps and solve problems
Experience working with a large volume of data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting a point of view to key stakeholders
Confident Communicator: You have experience presenting financial concepts to various audiences, including business leaders
What Will Put You Ahead
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field with 10+ years of financial analysis experience
Process Improvement / Process Transformation / Process Implementation experience
Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems
Experience with data analysis/visualization tools beyond Microsoft Excel (i.e., Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik)
Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables and reporting, working with macros, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation)
Manufacturing industry experience (Consumer Products a plus)
