What you'll be doing:

• Support all retail development efforts for Squishmallows licensed products across select specialty, mid-tier, drug, and value accounts.
• Work closely with Sr Director of Retail Development, and the internal account teams to develop coordinated multi-category retail programs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key buyers and provide ongoing brand communication.
• Create custom sales presentations with the Sr Director, Retail Development for pitching, ongoing customer support, and bespoke retail promotions and programs.
• Help plan and execute retail promotions and events for key partners, in-store and digitally, in conjunction with Squishmallows marketing team.
• Develop and execute multi-category in-store features and connected marketing programs to support the brand at managed accounts.
• Work with licensed partners to support their sell-in and pitching efforts with decks, updated brand information, and retail updates.
• Create detailed recaps and internal communications to update and inform all members of the Squishmallows team on retail discussions.
• Maintain an ongoing understanding of the retail landscape, through industry news, store visits, etc., and identify opportunities for brand growth.
• Update and maintain internal and external reports including but not limited to: retail databases, retail recaps, and competitive analysis.
• Work closely with all internal teams including: sales, marketing, brand, creative, events, and licensing.

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Min 7-10 years of working in licensing
• Min 7-10 years of working with or at retail account
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office & G-Suite
• Able to multitask, organize, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and time-sensitive environment
• Ability to successfully take on multiple projects at one time
• Knowledge of time management and project management skillsets, software, and practices
• Demonstrates team skills such as collaboration, communication, and relationship building
• Experience in a global company
