Description:

Under direct supervision of the Technical Program Director, will scope, develop, and maintain our in-house enterprise platform (front-end components, back-end components, APIs, and data persistence) that we use to evaluate and process business loan requests. This platform (“The Box”) minimizes the time to process loan requests and makes the process of generating a funding decision faster and more uniform. The duties will include: 1) designing and building applications using .NET 6; 2) implementing and configuring cloud infrastructure; 3) designing and implementing database schemas (relational and NoSQL); 4) implementing client-side applications. This position operates within a Scrum team and participates in all steps of the SDLC from ideation to deployment and support.

Greenbox Capital is an ultra-high growth fintech company serving small businesses with funding options through its proprietary enterprise software, The Box. The Box allows for small business owners to receive business funding, in most cases, in 20 minutes or less, revolutionizing the lending industry to that of a traditional borrowing method. This position is responsible for designing solutions and developing new enhancements to continue to build on the existing platform.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on engineering leadership of small team(s) of 4-12
• .NET 6 application development
• Database development and query optimization
• Application debugging, server and client-side

• Front-end programming and UX/UI optimization
• Creation of technical diagrams/documentation
• Performance optimization at all tiers
• Active participation in product improvement
• Keen eye for detail, best practices, secure code and an overall commitment to quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in technologies mentioned above.
• Experience must include hands-on experience in website, API, and function app development

• Experience implementing for (serverless) cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with at least one SPA framework

Preferences:

• Experience building applications for Azure, websites and Azure functions

• Experience with React or Preact
• Experience utilizing Cosmos DB or equivalent
• Strong TDD skills
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture
• Experience building using ReST/JSON

• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and object calisthenics
