Our client is now hiring for their Senior Production Planner role in Laconia, NH. The ideal candidate is a deadline-driven strong negotiator with experience in the medical device industry, but experience in another regulated industry is helpful. Responsibilities of the Senior Production Planner

• Schedule, plan, order, and coordinate the delivery of materials, equipment, and services
• Generate and maintain production schedules
• Control inventory
• Resolve issues with assigned production parts/materials, equipment, or supplier orders
• Ensure FDA and ISO regulations and quality standards are met
• Develop and improve procedures and best practices for production scheduling
• Work collaboratively to support quoting, production, cost savings initiatives, quality/complaint investigations, customer service, and other activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Senior Production Planner

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field preferred
• 3-5 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment, including production scheduling, ERP/MRP, production control, inventory management
• Experience in the medical device industry highly desirable
• ORACLE/KINAXIS preferred
• APICS certification preferred but not required
• Team player with strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Computer skills including MS Office
