The Team and the Role:
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Keyport Division (NUWCDIVKPT) Detachment Pacific (Code 04/TDC) functions as NUWC’s forward presence in the Middle Pacific, Guam, and Western Pacific (WESTPAC) providing Detachment/Site Management in accordance with the Commanding Officer's (CO) letter of delegated authority to provide for program management, planning, policy, and execution of assigned programs and facility operations at the Detachment; monitor Safety and Occupational Health (SOH), physical and information security, personnel administration, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and professional development and morale, environmental compliance, appropriate interaction with all levels of Government and public affairs functions, site and area coordination for emergency preparedness, facilities management and space utilization, site material readiness, proper use of Government equipment and proper expenditure of funds, and adherence to good management practices and controls; manage the Detachment/On-Site Office (OSO); perform Navy programs duties under authority; manage military personnel allowance in accordance with Navy regulations, including Article 15 authority (non-judicial punishment); and serve as the Command's representative to the local installation CO or facility host in negotiating for utilities, security services, and facility maintenance. Divisions supported within this task are Hawaii Fleet Test and Operational Assessment Division (Code 24), Pearl Harbor Torpedo Division (Code 34), and Fleet Technical Support Division (Code 45).
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Senior Programmer Analyst will provide support to the Ford Island Simulation Technology Testing Facility (FIST2FAC) on the Hawaii Detachments Support Services contract. This included Corporate, RDT&E unclassified and classified, Secret Defense Research and Engineering Network, NMCI unclassified and classified systems, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. Participate in planning, research, proposal generation and coordination of test events.

Configure simulation systems, program scenarios, develop software and perform system integration within the laboratory in accordance with test objectives and scenarios. -
Support system integration and testing which includes laboratory and live assets System administration. -
Operate computer equipment within the laboratory to meet test objectives. -
Generate presentation materials, documents, and computer products for test events. -
Perform maintenance on the laboratory equipment and retain the compliance documentation IAW Department of Defense Cybersecurity Service Provider requirements. -
Perform periodic system maintenance on equipment within the laboratory. -
Support configuration, receiving, movement and shipping of the laboratory, network, hardware and software to support test events. -
Perform system administration, vulnerability scans and install patches. -
Prepare and compile the artifacts for system accreditation and compliance packages in accordance with existing procedures. -
Perform backup and recovery operations. -
Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. - Bid and proposal support if requested.

Required Qualifications:
- An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
- Bachelor's and College Degree in Computer Science, Education, Technical, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Engineering, Technology, Design, Management.
- Two-Four (2-4) years of experience in information technology, system administration, hardware, and software support in unclassified environments.
- Maintaining a quality focus on all development activity to ensure all solutions are delivered tested and coherent with the design objectives in specifications.
- Provide high quality technical leadership for the asset team covering business analysis, development, architecture, project, and support resources.
- Technical specialization in reporting solutions including database query and optimization of data extraction.
- Must be a self-starter with quick ramp up time.
- Current Cyber Security Workforce certification at the journeyman level to qualify for a Privileged Access Account.
- Latest computer and server operating system certifications; Security= and Windows 10 Cert required at time of hire.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and College Degree in Computer Science, Education, Technical, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Engineering, Technology, Design, Management.
- Two (2) years IT, SYS, ADMIN, HW & SW support in Unclassified Environments.
- CCNA Certification.
